Blessington store robbed

Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a Tyendinaga Township store of thousand of dollars Friday night.

Police said The two partially masked men entered the Blessington Road general store and ordered the two staff and one patron to back away from the service counter before proceeding to remove the cash register along with the estimated $3500 it contained.

The suspects were last seen fleeing south on Shannonville Road. Napanee OPP secured the premises and the surrounding area. Police re-routed traffic as OPP K-9, with the assistance of Emergency Response Team members conducted a search of the area.

The suspects are describes as white males between 17 to 18 years of age. One of the suspects was medium built, about 6 ft. Tall. He was wearing a dark jacket, dark hoodie, light coloured shoes, dark gloves and dark pants.

The second suspect was described as having a pasty complexion with acne and could be anywhere from 5 ft. 10 inches to 6 ft. 10 inches tall. He is slim build, had poor teeth with short brown hair and no facial hair. He had dark eyes and was wearing a dark grey cotton hoodie and a dark balaclava.
